My connection with the wider world has been with me since I was very young. My first major experience was in Ireland during my childhood, which sparked a deep curiosity in me to immerse myself in different cultural realities. Throughout my life, both as a child and as an adult, I have continued to broaden this perspective by living in places such as Mexico, Canada and France.
To this day, I maintain a very active connection with Ireland, where I return to work every summer. Having gone through all these experiences has taught me the value of flexibility and allows me to understand first-hand the challenges that accompany processes of mobility: the effort of adaptation, the grief associated with migration, and the constant rebuilding of one’s identity upon arriving in a new environment.
For this reason, in my practice I prioritise cultural sensitivity and empathy, offering a safe space where each person can feel understood and supported through their own processes of change and transition.
